Description

Here is yet another very excellent Catapleiite thumbnail from the Canadian Poudrette Quarry. A perfectly crystallized six-sided crystal, perched well balanced on little matrix. Usually this relatively rare species is found in opaque and beige crystals, or on the other side of the spectrum, wafer-thin, and not in such high quality with a transparent and relatively thick tabular gemmy crystals with wonderfully beveled edges. That´s why it´s a top piece despite its comparatively small size
