Description

A very outstanding cluster of two relatively large euhedral, perfectly six-sided Catapleiite crystals on matrix. They are milky white and absolutely translucent and, they significantly thicker than the otherwise well-known, almost wafer-thin crystals. By the way, the slightly larger main crystal near the base measures an impressive 1.4 cm and both crystals are superbly crystallized with beautifully precisely beveled edges. A “killer thumbnail” from the Poudrette Quarry at Mont Saint Hillaire.
