Silver

Himmelsfürst Mine | Brand-Erbisdorf | Freiberg | Saxony | Germany

Size: 11.2 x 6.9 x 5.4 cm

Here we see a stunning specimen of a native Silver killer piece from the old and famous Himmelsfürst Mine of Brand-Erbisdorf, very close to the city of Freiberg, Saxony. This is a superb, incredibly aesthetic, example from one of the most treasured European classic Silver locales. This piece has a beautiful dark patina with some dramatic lighter parts, and an exquisite complexity to the ropy and superbly twisted wires. The piece is very sturdy despite its elegant look, and this is a solid piece that is not flexible or "bendy" like many other Silvers of this size. The pinnacle of elegance in a German Silver is represented here by this fine cabinet specimen with 360-degree perfection. It is by far the very best we ever handled and for my opinion among the most aesthetic specimens I ever saw in German Silvers. A high dramatic and aesthetic specimen for highest demands and suitable for the best of the best collections. Comes with a high quality customer acrylic base.

Elbaite

Santa Rosa Mine | Itambacuri | Minas Gerais | Brazil

Size: 10.0 x 5.9 x 4.4 cm

Here we have a stunning specimen with several elongated and superbly defined Elbaite from the venerable Santa Rosa Mine at Itambacuri of Minas Gerais, Brazil. This excellent and aesthetic cluster features multicoloured crystals : dark blue terminations; a lighter blue zone; ; and a large part of many of the crystals are pink. The pink core is sheathed in blue, so these can be called "watermelon." Less crystals have contacted, though undamaged, terminations. But the major crystals upon it are intact and pristine. The primary, 7,2 cm crystal, is superbly doubly terminated. This super piece has NO REPAIR AND NO RESTORE: Very highly representative and rare from this famous find. A great specimen with super aesthetics and suitable for highest demands.

Rhodochrosite

N´Chwaning I Mine | Kuruman | Kalahari-Mn-Fields | South Africa

Size: 6.5 x 4.3 x 2.3 cm

Here we have an outstanding high quality N´Chwaning Rhodo of best colour and luster. Blood-red, scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite, such as this specimen, are the defining character of the Kalahari Manganese Fields and for the species worldwide. The eye gravitates to the well-formed, gemmy crystals and their vibrant red colour. Only one almost invisible cleavage among the otherwise perfect crystals. N´Chwaning Mine Rhodochrosites have a well deserved distinction among collectors and were found only in a few-year period in the late 1970s. They remain a classic among collectors and are represent some the most beautiful mineral specimens you can own. This specimen is a fantastic example. The cherry red colour, not too light and not too dark, will blast you away. This is a stunningly aesthetic specimen for highest demands and comes with a high quality acrylic base.

Tanzanite

Merelani Hills | Lelatema Mts. | Arusha Region | Tanzania

Size: 4.8 x 3.7 x 2.4 cm

This is a superbly defined and multifaceted crystal of Tanzanite from the Merelani Hills at Arusha in Tanzania. We see a stunningly intense, deep blue crystal that is natural and unheated. The piece shows vivid blue colour with hints of red and purple along its three axes. The blue is particularly intense, especially when you consider how gemmy it is. A fancy termination and excellent glassy luster together, make this a superb miniature. The crystal weighs 73 grams and contains a large amount of cutting rough in gem-clean regions. The surface of the crystal itself is highly perfect with a beautiful striation. I am a big believer in hoarding fine tanzanites, as the source just cannot last forever, and worldwide demand for the gemstone drives the miners to cut good crystals for the easy and quick monetary yield, as opposed to save them. This particular and highly desirable crystal comes with a high quality customer base.

N´Chwaning I Mine | Kuruman | Kalahari-Mn-Fields | South Africa

Size: 6.0 x 4.7 x 3.8 cm

Glassy and gemmy, this cherry-red cluster of scalenohedral Rhodochrosite has crystals to 2 cm in length. Just a gorgeous small cabinte sized piece. It is a perfect balance and size to impress, and has top colour and gemminess. These came out in the early 1980s, in just a few pockets, and this style was never seen before or after. This stunning specimen is pristine all around with perfect tips and high aesthetics. It remains one of the ultimate classics, and specimens like this are exceeding hard to come by.

Heliodor

Volodarsk-Volynskii | Zhytomyr Oblast | Ukraine

Size: 13.6 x 5.2 x 4.1 cm

The world-famous granite pegmatite of Volodarsk-Volynskii in Ukraine is most famous for its great Topaz and Beryl specimens. Beryl here often occurs as the yellow or yellow-greenish variety Heliodor and here we have an enormous, 13,6 cm measuring cabinet sized gemmy crystal. The six-sided crystal is rounded, as is the slightly tapered pyramidal termination, while the prism faces display exquisite etched patterns of nested squares and rectangles. The crystal is absolutely gemmy and features the most desirable colour for the locale,- intense yellow with a nearly invisible hint of green. This highly aestehtic specimen has a wet-glassy luster and looks great in every way. This is a super 360° gem crystal from Volodarsk-Volynskii, absolutely pristine all around and suitable for highest aesthetic demands.
