Description

Atop the beautiful creamy matrix, several glassy, bright orange-brown Grossular crystals (variety Hessonite), mostly about 1 cm in size, stand in extremely contrasting fashion. This is essentially a classic Grossular specimen, but aesthetically something special due to the wonderful contrast! This material dates from the glorious 1970s or early 1980s. Specimens of this quality, with the true luster and shine of a gemstone, and with this aesthetic, are rare today. This is a very special specimen with a high aesthetic impact.
