Description

Another exceeding rare specimen,- a green Fluorite cluster on Amethyst from Idar-Oberstein, more exactly from the Juchem Quarry,- well known for its great Amethyst and Calcite specimens. Fluorite is probably the most desired species of the locale and here we have light apple-green, slightly disolved cubed crystals to 1,5 cm, nicely set on pale lavender coloured Quartz. Of course not comparable with specimens from Illinois or other great Fluorite localities, but such items are extremely hard to come by,- let´s say it is almost impossible. Consequently a MUST HAVE for every Fluorite and Idar collector. Bottom is sawn.
