Description

A typical, yet rare, combination piece from the venerable and world-famous Samson mine near St. Andreasberg in the Harz Mountains, which was closed in 1910. Needless to say, such old-time specimens, which also survived two world wars, are extremely rare nowadays. In this case, we see a distinctly striated, silvery-white, but slightly tarnished Dyscrasite crystal measuring 0.8 cm, slightly off to the side but clearly visible, accompanied by cubed Galena crystals with partially beveled corners. As a highly aesthetic bonus, this classic piece also hosts clear and multifaced Calcite crystals, which gives it an incredible impact of contrast and dramatic.
