Description

This is an absolute killer specimen: an elongated, distorted Sylvite crystal. This long prismatic habit is pretty interesting for an isometric species. This translucent beauty is sharp and absolutely perfect from every angle. The 4.9 cm tall crystal with a resinous luster is perched on a matrix of smaller Sylvite crystals. Go get this piece; new finds are improbable as mining at Sigmundshall ended in 2018 after more than 120 years of production.
