Description

Here we have a SUPER-RARE locality piece, a jackstraw of Strontianite from Bräunsdorf near Freiberg in Saxony,- probably from the famed Hilfe Gottes Mine but there is no specific mine mentioned. The single, elongated crystals here showing fine luster and gemminess. They are sharp edged as well and some of them are nicely tapered terminated. With magnification, we see tiny, brassy Pyrite clusters, slightly scattered over the specimen. A great piece with super aesthetics,- so hard to come by, and as little bonus it comes with a fine antique label.
