Description

This specimen is definitely among the finest German Chalcocite pieces ( eventually the best ). A wonderful plate of gemmy and colourless Gypsum features a bunch of well formed and steel-gray Chalcocite crystals. The largest Chalcocite measures 1,6 cm in diameter, is superbly striated and has a beautiful metallic sheen. A highly aesthetic and contrastful, old-time specimen from Eisleben in Harz mountains, Germany. Specimens of this caliber are exceedingly rare and I did not see more than 5 pieces over the years,- and this is the first and only one we handle.
