Description

Hsianghualite is a VERY RARE species of the Ca-Li-Be zeolite group and this piece comes from the TYPE LOCALITY, the Xianghualing mine of Linwu county. Both known localities are located in the Xianghualing polymetallic ore field. This valuable specimen features glassy, gem-like, rounded, yet multifaceted crystals up to enormous 1.4 cm in diameter as beautiful clusters, nicely and contrastful set on dark, mica-bearing matrix. These are extraordinarily large crystals of an extremely rare species, which are hard to come by in such a great quality nowadays.
