Description

Here we have a wonderful plate, loaded with finest, highly lustrous, deep royal blue Azurite crystals up to 1.7 cm long, partially pseudomorphosed into forest green Malachite. This circumstance creates a dramatic display of color and contrast. The excellently defined crystals are largely perfect terminated, showing superb luster and, of course, top aesthetics. Pieces of this quality were found almost exclusively in the 1980s and 1990s. Today, they are rather rare and desired.
