Description

This superb and extremely rich specimen is overloaded with steel-gray and somewhat rounded, almost molten-looking Acanthite crystals with a nice metallic luster. The crystals reach to 1.2 cm in diameter. The miniature-sized specimen is crystallized on both sides and looks wonderfully balanced. Some of the generally perfect Acanthite crystals show a hint of hopper growth. An unusually good piece in an unusual habit from the classic and well-known silver and gold mine San Juan de Rayas, south of the city of Guanajuato.
