Description

This is an excellent Rhodonite crystal measuring 2.7 x 1 x 1 cm with excellent terminations and a small sidecar of the same species. The blood red Rhodonite crystals are absolutely gemmy and both crystals are complete except for a cleave at the lower part of the larger crystal. The terminations are excellent although as we know they are usually slightly but naturally rounded. Such high-quality pieces obviously come from finds from the 1940s and have become extremely rare. Looking back over the years, I have only seen few pieces of this caliber on the market. Just a great and colorful specimen!
