Description

Rather known for its great Chalcopyrite specimens, this famous ancient iron and copper mine produced also a few number of quite excellent Pyrite-on-Dolomite pieces. And this is the best one we ever handled. A bunch of perfectly cubed golden Pyrite crystals to 1,7 cm on edge, nicely perched on pale ocher-brown to creamy Dolomite rhombs. The Pyrites showing wonderful quadrangular pattern on their surfaces and a high metallic sheen as well. The very minor imperfections are easily forgivable when we consider the great overall aesthetics.
