Description

A superb alpine classic, this fine and sparkling metallic Iron or Hematite Rose from the well known Swiss locale Fibbia of Fontana in Ticino Canton. This specimen is build up out of six-sided, single crystals of Hematite out of the centre, which gives it this nice rose-like appearance with the largest diameter of 1,4 cm. A fine mini with beautiful aesthetic impact and much better in person. Btw,- there is an elongated glassy colourless crystal to over one cm. I have no idea what it is: Quartz, deformed Adularia, Milarite????????
