Description

This is a truly outstanding piece with elongated, distorted, tapered Tetrahedrite crystals up to a remarkable 2.9 cm in size on minor Baryte matrix. Good pieces from Kamsdorf are rare and desirable anyway, but excellent Tetrahedrite specimens like this one, with sharp edges, steel-gray color, and a beautiful metallic luster, are highly sought after, especially among local collectors. Minor bruising here and there is hard to see to the unaided eye and doesn´t detract from the great overall aesthetic and striking rarity of the piece.
