Description

This great and old time specimen hosts a bunch of vugs with numerous acicular Cassiterite crystals as so called "Needle-Tin" or "Sparable-Tin". Sparable-Tin was the miner’s term for acicular habits of Cassiterite, named for their similarity to a "sparrow’s bill" or the name for hand-made nails used in the mines. The single crystals here are sharp edged and highly lustrous. A superb and rich specimen in splendid condition with great aesthetics for that what it is and for sure one of the finest "Needle-Tins" we ever handled
