Description

A brown Limonite stained vug in a quartz matrix is richly covered with large Tennantite crystals up to 0.5 cm in size. These are steel gray with a bright metallic luster. They are extremely large for the locality and have nicely defined sharp edges. There are only minimal imperfections on this otherwise very beautiful specimen. This is classic material from the famous Cornish historic mining district where the species was first discovered, and mining dates back to the early-middle Bronze Age.
