Description

Here we are looking on a superb and highly aesthetic specimen with excellent developed, sharp and bladed crystals of Wulfenite. This is an important display-quality small cabinet piece for the classic locality, featuring dramatic aesthetics compared to the jumbly mess these usually present as. Superbly emplaced on matrix are six-sided, well terminated, tabular, lustrous and translucent, orangey-yellow wulfenite crystals, to 2,7 cm across. A part of the crystals are showing a brownish hue. The crystals are largely dominant and perfect, which is remarkable The luster is high, the geometry is outstanding... it is hard to find a better one in such a size range. This was likely collected in the 1960s. A superb Wulfenite specimen, suitable for highest aesthetic standards for the species, considering the quality for the locale. --- IMPORTANT: HAND DELIVERY IS MANDATORY --- Ex Dr. Hans-Jürgen Wilke Collection.
