Description
A typical and aesthetic combination piece from the classic Harz deposit Rottleberode near Nordhausen. At this point I cannot say clearly whether the piece comes from the "Flußschacht Mine" which was abandoned in 1990, but this is most likely. The delicately purple-tinged cubed crystals measuring up to 2.8 cm on edge and they are beautifully transparent and associated with some brassy clusters of sharp-edged Chalcopyrites. Minor bruising here and there doesn´t really detract from the great overall aesthetics.
