Description

Here we see another piece of this wonderful material, a strikingly colorful specimen showing another 5 cm measuring vug nicely filled with velvety sky blue Planchites, but associated with some light green velvety Malachite. Plancheite, a rare copper silicate is rarely found in good specimens and here we see densely intergrown, 1.3 cm measuring Planchite puffballs in this ultrafine piece. Scattered throughout these puffballs are smaller spherical clusters of dark green primary Malachite, providing great contrast, aesthetics and dramatics. The radial pattern of crystal development is clearly visible along the rim of the specimen. Extremely large, rich and aesthetic for this locality.
