A beautiful, small, cabinet-sized Strontianite-on-Magnesite specimen from well-known locale Oberdorf an der Laming. This magnesite deposit in Styria, Austria, is one of the world´s most important localities for this strontium carbonate, where magnificent crystals are found. This beautiful specimen features nearly snow-white, hexagonal, partially transparent crystals up to 1.4 cm in size. Wherever space has allowed, the Strontianite crystals are doubly-terminated and colorless, with highly lustrous, excellent terminations. It is a beautiful example of Strontianite from this most classic European locality.
