Description

Over the years I have had a number of Epidote specimens going through my hands, but none with excellent aesthetics like this one. The specimen presents, well-terminated, dark olive-brown colored, and translucent Epidote crystals up to 3 cm tall and stacked cleft Augite crystals. The latter can be clearly seen in photo four. Both species are extremely sharp with excellent luster. The few broken crystals on the base of the specimens are due to the fact that this is extremely delicate material, however, in my opinion this is easy to forgive due to the wonderful overall aesthetic and composition.
