Description

Here we see wonderfully developed, sharp-edged, and highly lustrous, transparent to translucent, rich red-orange Spessartine crystals covering the entire display face of this specimen from the famous Wushan spessartine mine in China. Countless fiery red-orange, trapezoidal Spessartine crystals, ranging in size from 2 mm to 1.3 cm, are loosely scattered across the entire display face of this pretty small cabinet piece. The garnets appear like small gemstones, glittering in the incident light. Outstanding quality! This is a truly outstanding piece, absolutely pristine, and comes from older material (late 1990s, early 2000s).
