Description

This specimen is perhaps slightly more compact of the two Pingwu Scheelite pieces. And, as I said before, we have all definitely seen much larger crystals of this species. And again, the perfect octahedrons with this translucency and gemminess are indeed rather rare. Like the first specimen, the light honey-yellow crystals are quite isolated on a bed of small, tabular beige-colored Muscovite crystals. Most of the Scheelite crystals which are up to 2.1 cm tall, are undamaged, although one of the smaller crystals has a small chip. Very highly aesthetic material from the late 1990s.
