Highly desired since time immemorial, this is without question an absolute rarity! A wonderful solitary, distinctly green Anglesite crystal up to 0.7 cm on a Galena-bearing matrix. Such pieces trickle onto the mineral market relatively rarely and come almost exclusively from old collections. They are almost legendary and naturally difficult to obtain. If the green hue is indeed derived from copper, this would be an extremely rare copper-bearing Anglesite. Either way, the unusual color, shape, and geminess make this Anglesite an exceptional specimen.
