Description

Definitely, this is a superb specimen with two excellent formed intergrown major crystals of Vesuvianite to 2,2 cm on edge with several little "brothers" around the piece. They are associated with less, brownish, tiny Hessonite garnets as well. The Vesuvianite also features amazing luster, excellent striation and great terminations. Very minor bruising at the backside of one crystal is hard to see to the naked eye and doesn´t detract from the outstanding overall aesthetics. The aesthetics of this piece is truly amazing and it is a world class example of this Italian classic.
