Description

Solid pink colored Elbaite from the famous Afghan gemstone deposit of Paprok are rather unusual and therefore highly sought after, especially in this quality. This specimen has an exceptionally beautiful "bubblegum pink" hue with a termination consisting of numerous triangular tips, a typical feature of the deposit. On the back there is a slightly beige-colored raised "edge" made of crystal-clear prismatic crystals (Elbaite or Apatite). Excellent striation on the prism faces along the c-axis and perfect color result in an overly aesthetic specimen.
