Description

The Willnau dump of the Hofsgrund area at Schauinsland in Black Forest was the first site for minerals I visited together with my mineral collectors club,- nearly 45 years ago. And still in those days it was almost impossible to find such well crystallized and colourful pieces. Nowadays the old Willnau dump is recultivated and collecting strictly prohibited. So, such fine specimens are still classics and relatively difficult to obtain in this specific quality and nicely saturated colouration.
