Description

This is a very rich specimen with several intergrown, well formed Anglesite crystals, exposed atop slightly tarnished Galena-rich matrix. This is an unusual aesthetic specimen with largely excellent terminated crystals. They measure up to almost 1,5 cm and come from old Bage Mine at Cromford near Matlock of Derbyshire, England. Contrary to the common characteristic to many of the minerals found in this classic mine, this is a very aesthetic specimen with almost pristine crystals. At the backside of the major cluster was the rock what doesn´t detract from the great overall aesthetics and high quality of this extremely rare and high quality Bage Anglesite.
