Description

Actually I´m not that impressed about specimens from Trepča. I vividly remember the times, when former Yugoslavs visited the mineral shows here in Germany with there richly filled up cars, which made some collectors that nervous, that they could hardly wait, to take a look in the trunk of the car. These trunks are usually filled up with black and clunky rocks, rarely with any kind of contrast or aesthetics. But this specimen here is the exacte opposite of this still mentioned kind of stuff. This flower-like specimen is composed of countless, scalenohedral crystals with highly lustrous but slightly stepped surface. Terminations and transparency are great, considering the locality. This is a super aesthetic and PRISTINE specimen ,- seldom seen for sale in the 1980s and 1990s, and way more rare nowadays.
