Description

Here we have well-defined and sharp crystals of Parisite-(Ce) from a classic locality for the species, the Snowbird Mine in Montana - and certainly the largest and best we have seen for sale from a USA locality. This locality has produced excellent, but limited amounts of distinct crystals of the species compared to localities in Colombia and Malawi. This beautiful tapering and elongated crystals here are sharp edged and lustrous with fine brown colour. A superb, aesthetic and rare specimen from an uncommon locality, exceedingly hard to come by nowadays,- by far the best one we ever handled from here. The specimen comes with a high quality lucite custom base for display.
