Description

This is a very colourful Fluorite-Galena combination piece from the well known Blackdene mine near the village of Ireshopeburn in the Weardale Valley of County Durham in England. This locale is one of the most famous mines in this area, especially renowned for its magnificent purple Fluorite. And here we have a beautiful coloured, stunning cabinet sized specimen which exhibits a deep lilac colour, great luster and good transparency for the locale. Some of the cubed Fluorites are showing slightly cuboid form and they are accompanied by multifaced, steel-gray clusters of Galena at one side of the piece. Only very minor edge wear which is very hard to see. A super aesthetic and colourful piece in splendend condition
