Here we have wonderful piece of tabular, yolk-yellow coloured Wulfenite on minor matrix. Old Slovenian Wulfenites really set the standard in old mineralogy, and in European collecting of lead minerals in particular, for a long time. Today, most people are familiar with the great Wulfenites from Arizona, Mexico, and China, and have forgotten that Slovenia actually produced Wulfenites that could rank among the world´s top locales. This one is such piece, a very old specimen that has relatively large size, a fine butterscotch colour, and relatively thick, flattened crystals with very minor edge wear. A superb specimen and considering size and quality and overall aesthetics, the price is almost a bargain.
