Description

This is a superb thumber with unusual transparent and well developed, hexagonal crystals. This dramatic, intense light blue cluster of tabular, highly lustrous crystals are among the finest we handled, despite it is just a thumbnail specimen. They are sharp and translucent to transparent, rare alkali-rich Beryl crystals, to 8 mm across. Very showy! These were originally thought to be Rosterite or Vorobyevite, but further analysis by Dr. Federico Pezzotta confirmed they are alkali-rich Beryls.
