Description

In this specific case we see an outstanding Cuproadamite from Lavrion in Greece,- more precisely from the 2. level of Serpieri Mine No. 60. The Cuproadamite crystals here are showing two generations. A smaller and lighter apple green style is covering the typically gossan matrix. The larger, rather bortyoidal clusters of deeper green colour are scattered over this still mentioned "green sod". Both styles are showing a distinct triangular basic shape with glassy to gemmy look and sharp edges as well. Luster and overall aesthetics are great and believe me,- such superb specimens are exceeding hard to come by, even from the local collectors. I have not seen many of this quality over the years.
