Description

This is a rather large specimen of Adamite from the relatively recent and meanwhile classic finds here of the late 2010s. In my opinion by far the best European Adamites. They are showing wonderful pale lemon yellow colour with a hint of green. The habit of the crystals is of radiating fan-sprays shooting out from the contrasting white Aragonite-covered matrix. Here you have several of these so-called pinwheel clusters to 1,8 cm, partly intergrown, spaced across a relatively large display face.
