Description

Galena generally crystallizes in cubes or modified cubes. What makes this specimen special is the partly tabular habit of the Galena crystals. And what makes it extra special is the twinning of the Galena after the Spinel twinning law. Those crystals measure to 2.1 cm in size, are lead gray in color and have a strong metallic luster. What’s not to like about this specimen?
