Description
Fan-shaped cluster of tabular Barite crystals up to 5.7 cm on edge. The creamy white crystals are partly covered with black botryoidal Goethite. A great specimen from a find at the end of the 1990s. A top piece for the locality, La Union, whose rich mines provided most of the silver and lead for the Late Roman Republic (circa 146 BC-31 BC).
