Description

Wonderful, intense green octahedrons of Fluorite scattered over typical matrix from the well known Catalonian locale Berta Mine of Papiol. This area is about 14 km northwest of Barcelona. The Fluorite is possibly internally gemmy, but the outer frosted faces mask this, making the crystals appear translucent. Surrounding the Fluorite and covering the matrix’s top surface is a carpet of colourless, micro-Quartz crystals. In every case an exceptionally good locality piece for a reasonable price I think.
