This excellent specimen features numerous of well defined and sharp crystals of Chalcopyrite on matrix. This brilliantly colourful and lustrous Chalcopyrites grow en masse on this piece from the classic locality of Friedrich Wilhelm Mine near Biersdorf. The Chalcopyrites, up to 1,7 cm in size, have a natural luster that is so metallic additional with that typically slightly tarnished look. The colour is a brassy gold with flashes of red and purple. There are numerous faces and edges visible, and the Chalcoprite is intergrown with plates of crystalline Quartz on the bottom. For the locality, a stunning mini.
