Description

What a bright green color! Numerous sharp, neon green, translucent and lustrous crystals Andradite crystals of the Demantoid variety, on typical matrix from one of the largest, now inactive, chrysotile asbestos open pit mine in Mégantic County, Quebec, Canada. Because the mine is shut down for environmental concerns, aesthetic specimens like this one are becoming rarer on the market.
