This elegant, medusa-like Wire-Silver stands out amongst many of the Freiberg´s I have seen as particularly aesthetic for the size and shape. It features several intergrown wires with excellent patina and beautiful metallic sheen. They are showing a nice striation as well and particularly at the bottom of the wires are slight iridescent colours visible. No telling how old it is, but they do turn up in old collections as well as from some lucky finds in the 1900s as well. In any case a superb and very aesthetic German Silver specimen.
