Description
Here we have two very rare species, Kipushite and Reichenbachite from Kipushi of Katanga in Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Reichenbachite, a rare copper phosphate is richly covering the gossan matrix as multiple faceted deep mint green botryoidal clusters. On these Reichenbachite crystals we see several sprays of lighter mint-green, of also RARE copper-zinc-phosphate Kipushite composed of glassy and sharp crystals. This specimen is both,- aesthetic and rare. Old material from the 1960s or 1970s. NOTE: Kipushi Mine is TYPE LOCALITY for Kipushite.
