Description
A splendid, bi-pyramidal creamy to light gray crystal of alpine Scheelite from Austria. This off-matrix specimen from Leitachkogel in the Hollersbachtal area of Pinzgau, Salzburg is well terminated and highly lustrous. Such alpine "Cleft-Scheelite" is exceedingly desired by the local collectors and the strahlers as well. Rarely offered on mineral shows and consequently hard to come by.
