This is a fine and classic Scheelite-on-matrix specimen from the well known Camp Bird Mine of Colorado. In the late 1970´s-early 1980´s, the Camp Bird mine produced some very characteristic Scheelite specimens. These crystals have an easily recognizable gray to brownish hue. Most of these Scheelite crystals will fluoresce a bright blue-white colour under SW UV light. This beautiful cluster shows good pyramidal tetragonal forms with very good luster and sharp faces. A super piece.
