Description

A contrastful specimen with several multifaced and raven black Melanite (Andradite) crystals scattered over the matrix. The Melanites here are sharp edged and highly lustrous with almost good terminations. The largest crystal measures 1 cm across and the Garnets are associated with glassy Adularia crystals. Classic material from Burgum Alp of Pfitschtal in Trentino-Alto Adige.
