Here we have a superb and typical specimen with numerous well defined and glassy crystals of Demantoid garnet from the famous Italian locale Campo Franscia of Val Malenco. This is a very rich and showy specimen of gemmy and intense light olive-green Andradite variety Demantoid garnets festooned on starkly contrasting fibrous Asbestos matrix. A super specimen from a famous and classic Italian locality. Only minor imperfection.
