Description
A super alpine "Cleft-Augite" from the well known Austrian locality Söllnkaar of Hohe Tauern Mountains in Pinzgau. The crystals here are well developed, super sharp and excellent terminated. The major crystal here sit majestetically a bit aside and all the crystals are accompanied by sharp and gemmy Adularia. Augite specimens from alpine clefts are way more rare and desired than they "cousins" from other, especially volcanic locations. A super specimen from the heyday of this great alpine locality.
