Description

This wonderful matrix piece features a nice plate of creamy Quartz crystals scattered with numerous blood-red, highly lustrous, penetration twins of Cinnabar. The largest crystal has a diameter of 0.6 cm, which corresponds to the size they grow from this deposit. Not only that but it comes from what is now one of the most heavily militarized areas in the world, right on the frontline of conflict. and normally, if anything from this locality is available on the market at all, one sees unsightly, clunky specimens, mostly with severely bruised crystals. However, this is a highly aesthetic and largely pristine piece with wonderful color, excellent contrast, and a high aesthetic impact, relative to the deposit.
